You have nothing to feel ashamed of, you did the best you could and I bet hardly anyone's labour goes to plan so don't worry about it. The main thing is that you have a healthy little girl, it's the outcome not the event which matters. You neeed to stop giving yourself such a hard time and be proud of yourself.

Your husband sounds like an unsupportive selfish prick who needs a reality check. I'm sure his attitude is unhelpful and only serves to make you feel worse about yourself. All you need is a little self-believe, you didn't fail anything as having a baby is not a test of how much of a woman you are or any such rubbish.
